Collaboration: Public-Private Alliance Services
Meeting today’s global economic, social and environmental challenges demands
that governments, businesses and NGOs work together like never before.
Public-Private Alliances (PPAs) meet these challenges by leveraging the
resources, talent and unique capabilities of government, business and civil
society. SSG is an acknowledged leader in building, implementing and
supporting PPAs around the world.
Here are a few highlights of our work in PPAs:
- USAID Global Development Alliance (GDA). SSG has provided technical assistance
and training to USAID field missions and Washington operating units since 2005.
We have completed GDA support service assignments in more than a dozen countries
around the world. We also conduct analytical research, assessment and
evaluations of USAID alliances. SSG holds the Global Development Alliance
Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) as a small business set aside. SSG also
implements field projects that are structured around alliances, including USAID
Last Mile Initiative Projects in Sri Lanka and Vietnam.
- State Department Global Partnership Initiative. SSG developed a comprehensive
Partnership Toolkit, including Case Studies, FAQ, Process Maps, Best Practices,
Legal and evaluation guidelines. In addition, we developed an online training
module and delivered live trainings attended by State, DoD, EPA, USAID, MCC, CDC
and others.
- Inter American Development Bank. SSG is developing an on-site training program
for IADB and an online training module centered on partnerships. The training
will focus on the key functional and process elements associated with both
building and implementing partnerships.
- Development Contracting Firms and NGOs. SSG has delivered partnership training
and advisory services for development contractors and NGOs, including Chemonics,
MSI Inc, ARD Inc. and the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC).
